Title: Giraffe Illustration

Client: Personal Project
Made with: Adobe Draw & Apple Pencil
Time in Development: 2 hours
Collaborators: Solo-Project

Background:
There are times you just say yes. While prepping for a children’s book project a child asked if I could draw them a giraffe, and at times like that, you draw the child a giraffe.

Solution Developed:
Two illustrations of a giraffe were made in Adobe Draw using the Apple Pencil. Adobe Draw was chosen because the drawings could be transferred to Adobe Illustrator easily for integration in a variety of products. In this particular case, the final product was a pair of prints done on canvas that were hung in the child’s room.

Results:
The flexibility of Adobe Illustrator is something that I enjoy exploring. A variety of products can be produced and as a tool for illustrations the tool is quite flexible. I found the experience fulfilling as a way to demonstrate my own artistic style within the constraints of the project.
